Introducing
Kirrikin at RAG Pop-Up Perth:
Connecting with Community and Sharing Our Story

Recently, Kirrikin had the pleasure of attending the RAG Pop-Up Markets in Perth, where we showcased our latest collections and shared the stories behind our unique pieces with the local community. It was a vibrant day filled with connection, conversation and beautiful fashion.
Representing Kirrikin at the event were our wonderful team members, Martha and Lauren, who welcomed visitors to the Kirrikin stand, guided them through the collections, and shared the meaning woven into each garment and scarf. From stunning silk scarves featuring original artworks by Indigenous artists to our statement dresses and tops, shoppers had the chance to see, feel and try on the pieces that carry deep cultural stories from Country.
The RAG Pop-Up provided the perfect platform for people to experience wearable art firsthand and learn about the purpose behind Kirrikin — a brand that not only showcases First Nations design but directly supports the artists and communities involved. Many visitors were fascinated to hear about the individual artists behind each print and the rich storytelling that inspires every collection.
These face-to-face moments are always incredibly special for us. They allow us to meet new customers, reconnect with our community, and introduce more people to the beauty and purpose of slow fashion created with meaning. Seeing the excitement and pride when customers find a piece that resonates with them is at the heart of why we do what we do.
We extend a big thank you to the RAG Pop-Up team for hosting such a wonderful event, and to everyone who stopped by to support Kirrikin. Your interest, enthusiasm and support allow us to continue sharing Indigenous stories through fashion, one piece at a time.
We look forward to many more opportunities to connect with our local community at future events across Perth.
