The Dry Country Collection celebrates the strength, beauty, and storytelling of Indigenous women artists from the Pilbara region.
Grounded in Country and shaped by lived experience, this collection brings together a series of artworks that reflect the landscapes, seasons, and cultural knowledge of the Pilbara. Each piece is thoughtfully translated into wearable design, allowing these stories to be carried with purpose.
Featuring Sheryl Hicks, whose works Dry Country and Pilbara Wildflowers capture the stark beauty and seasonal changes of her homeland. Her art reflects the textures of dry earth, the movement of wind across Country, and the quiet resilience of the landscape.
The collection also includes Sally White’s Bush Tucker, a vibrant expression of the natural resources that sustain and connect communities, highlighting the deep relationship between people and land.
Carol Martin’s Wildflowers in the Pilbara brings a sense of colour and renewal, celebrating the life that emerges across the region and the ongoing connection to culture and place.
Together, these works form a collection that honours Indigenous women, their stories, and their connection to Country.
